Dear Parents,

Another great year for RUSD students is underway!  Our enrollment is continuing to climb, and we now have about 80 more students than we had at this time last year.  This growth presents challenges in many areas, and our staff has worked diligently over the past several weeks to meet them.   

Annual STAR testing results again show the remarkable growth our students continue to make.  For an in depth analysis of the test data, be sure to check the report that will be presented to the Board of Trustees at their September 14 meeting.  To see that report and all of the information for the 9/14 Board meeting, follow the links on the email you receive on Friday, September 10. 

The start of a new school year brings excitement and opportunities for our families.  Please be sure to review the flyers you receive from The Foundation and PTA for important information from these organizations that do so much to support our students.  Additionally, please mark your calendars for Back to School Nights and Dr. Gold's very informative Parent Meeting.  In addition, please take a moment to review our annual pesticide notification to parents.

I hope to meet as many of you as possible at your child's Back to School Night and other events through the year.  Dream Big!
